What does a road test entail?
A road test assesses your driving skills, including your ability to follow traffic laws, make safe decisions, and demonstrate vehicle control, performing proper traffic checks and headchecks. Your examiner will also have you perform the following maneuvers:

U-Turn

3 Point Turn

Parallel Park

Straight Back (Reversing in a straight line)

Hill Parking (Up or Down) 
What are the costs associated with a road test?
The cost of the road test is $70 if paid by Venmo or Credit Card or $60 if paid cash.
Will the examiner ever try to trick me or ask me to do anything illegal?
No, never. Your test will be administered by a examiner that has been approved by the State of Utah Department of Public Safety to administer a safe and fair road test.
Who can take the road test?
You can take a third-party road test if you are
a) at least 15 years old and
b) have a valid Utah learner permit or a No-Privilege card (often used with an out-of-country license
What happens after I pass/fail?
At the end of the test the examiner will give you a detailed explanation of your results. If you pass you will be given a personal copy of your results and a copy in a sealed envelope to present to the Utah DLD to receive your license. If you fail, you are eligible to retest in 24 hours in most cases.
